Paul Webster is a freelance writer and documentary film director based in Toronto. He has reported from more than 30 countries across Africa, Asia, the Americas and Eurasia. Paul's work in film has appeared on the Arte, BBC, CBC, Deutsche Welle, Discovery, National Geographic, Slice, SWR and Vision Television networks. Paul’s writing has won many awards, including four national magazine awards, the 2016 Michener Deacon Fellowship for Investigative Reporting, and the Sanofi Pasteur Award for Health Research Journalism in 2014 and 2017 Paul teaches Canada's only course in freelance science, medicine and public health writing, at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies
